a. Photos & Images
When you capture photos using the camera or upload images from your gallery to identify objects, translate their names, and hear pronunciations.

SnapWise allows users to create a basic profile. We may collect:

This information is used only to personalize the in-app experience. Profile data is not publicly visible and is not used for advertising.

e. Subscription Information
We collect subscription status and plan details. Payment and card information are handled securely by Google Play or Apple App Store and are not stored by SnapWise.
2. Camera & Gallery Access
Camera and gallery permissions are required only to:
Identify objects in photos
Translate object names
Provide pronunciation audio
Uploaded images are processed for these features and are not stored permanently.

We use collected information to:
Provide and maintain app features
Improve AI-based object recognition and translations

4. Third-Party AI Services

SnapWise uses artificial intelligence services to analyze images, identify objects, and provide translations and pronunciations.

When you upload a photo or submit content within the app, the image or related input may be securely transmitted to our AI service provider OpenAI for processing.

This data is used solely to generate the requested results such as object identification, translations, and audio pronunciation. SnapWise does not store uploaded images for identification purposes.

Before any content is sent for AI processing, the app informs the user and requires permission. The AI provider processes this information according to its own privacy and security policies and provides equal or greater protection for user data.

5. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
6. Children’s Privacy
SnapWise does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted promptly.
